Here at Cothrom, we provide opportunities to anyone and everyone. We have numerous courses, classes, facilities and events on every single week which can cater to your desires.
EDUCATION
MULTIPLY NATIONAL NUMERACY PROGRAMME
Multiply is a new Government funded programme which is aimed towards adults. Here, we aim to provide any help we can, ranging from budgeting and bills to just being able to help your child with their maths homework.
SCQF Level 5 Coreskills
We can provide the full education, delivery and assessments of these National courses. As we are SQA certified, we are able to carry out all assessments here in our building.
COTHROM OG
Here, on our own Learning Centre Campus, we have a full Gaelic Nursery which is available for children from age 3 months. We also provide a full year after school provision for any age up to 12.
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
ADP SUPPORT WORK
We deliver ADP Support to anyone over the age of 16, with fully confidential support easily accessible here.
EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS
We deliver the Employability Skills Programme here at Cothrom, in partnership with Developing the Youth Workforce (DYW)
ESOL
We deliver classes to help you learn, strengthen or consolidate your English language skills.
COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITIES
VOLUNTEERING
There are many different ways you can volunteer through Cothrom. It can help you find a job, experience new things, meet new people, and most importantly, you will have a helping hand in your own community.
RESTORE
On our Campus, we have an upcycling and restoration workshop, as well as a second hand furniture shop, in the form of Cothrom ReStore. ReStore provides so many opportunities for volunteering, working, and helping the community.
